About Us

Ignite Charitable Trust (ICT) is a secular, not-for-profit organization in India registered under the Indian Trust Act. The Origination works for the cause and care of the older person, homeless dependents, neglected children, Youth, differently abled, mentally ill to improve their quality of life. It envisages a society where all citizens lead a dignified life. It works across Cuddalore district, runs various programs in ground addressing the needs target population by advocating for their rights, providing quality health care, and action against abuses.

The trust was started by a visionary community developer Dr. Jose Mahesh, a post graduate in social work, recipient of State Chief minister youth Award 2018, in the year 2019, takes the growth slow and steady. The Founder is also member in District Child Protection committee, Member in District level Child Task Force, Member in Ethical Committee in Government Hospital Cuddalore, and a life member of Red Cross society.

This humble beginning aims to grow more and in serving the needed men kind and for the greater glory of God Almighty.

Vision & Integrated Village

IGNITE’s vision become more sensitive to the importance of families, the IGNITE Old Age Care Home is proposed to be replaced by an integrated village. This village will have a capacity to house nearly 300 elderly persons, fostering healthy relationships, minimizing feelings of isolation and loneliness which are widely experienced by senior citizens who live away from their families. In this way, they will be able to lead dignified and active retired lives.
